Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Doomsy’s websites, APIs, and mobile apps. By creating an account, connecting a brand, or generating a preview, you agree to them. Parts of Doomsy work without an account — those parts are covered too, from the moment you use them.
The service
Doomsy helps merchants generate, review, and manage social creatives for their products. Features may change as we improve the product. Beta or TestFlight builds may be less stable than production releases.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract and use Doomsy only for a legitimate business. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, evade billing, or violate these Terms.
Your brand and content
You retain rights to your catalog, brand assets, and the creatives you keep. You grant Doomsy a license to process that material to operate the service (sync, generate, store, and display feed items). You represent that you have the rights needed to upload product images and connect Shopify, and that your use complies with Shopify and platform policies where you publish.
Previews and the brands you submit
Doomsy can build a sample feed from a website address before you create an account. Whenever you submit a website — in a preview or when adding a brand — you represent that you own that brand or are authorized to create marketing material for it. Do not submit a business you have no connection to. We may refuse or remove any preview, and we will remove one on request from the business it depicts.
To build a preview we read pages that the site publishes publicly: catalog data, page text, and images. We fetch as an identified client, at a low rate, and only from addresses reachable on the public internet. We do not attempt to reach anything behind a login, and we do not bypass measures a site uses to refuse automated access.
Previews are generated once per website and cached. Someone else who enters the same address may be shown the preview already generated for it, so treat a preview as public rather than private. Previews are samples, not a durable service, and may be regenerated or deleted at any time.
AI-generated media
Outputs are machine-generated and may be inaccurate, off-brand, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing creatives before publishing them. Doomsy does not guarantee ranking, engagement, or compliance with ad-network creative rules.
Generated media may depict products, marks, or people. Clearing those rights — trademarks, likeness and publicity, and any disclosure your market requires for synthetic media — is yours to do before you publish, and it applies to anything you export from a preview as much as to anything you generate in an account.
Credits and billing
Paid plans and credit packs are billed through Stripe on the web (or legacy Shopify billing where still active). Credits are consumed by generation actions as shown in the app. Unused subscription credits may carry under the rules described at purchase; top-ups are generally non-refundable except where required by law or when we fail to deliver a paid generation after charging credits. Trials are limited and may exclude features such as video.
Purchases made inside the iOS app are sold by Apple through your App Store account. Subscriptions there renew automatically until you turn renewal off, which is done in your App Store settings rather than in Doomsy, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds for those purchases are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us. Price, term, and what each purchase includes are shown before you confirm.
Acceptable use
- No illegal, infringing, or deceptive content
- No attempts to probe, scrape, or disrupt the service
- No resale of access or circumvention of credit metering
- No uploading of malware or content you do not have rights to use
- No generating creative for a business you neither own nor represent, and no passing off generated media as a brand’s own communication
Third-party services
Shopify, Clerk, Stripe, Fal, and other providers have their own terms. Your use of those services is also subject to their policies. We are not responsible for outages or changes on third-party platforms.
Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOOMSY AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
Termination
You may stop using Doomsy and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a revised date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the service and request account closure.
