Privacy Policy
Doomsy (“we”, “us”) helps merchants generate and review social creatives for their store. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you use doomsy.ai, our API, and the Doomsy iOS app.
Who this covers
This policy applies to store owners and teammates who create a Doomsy account, connect a Shopify store or import a public catalog, and use the feed, generation, and billing features. It does not cover end customers of your store — we do not sell to consumers through Doomsy.
Information we collect
- Account data — email, name, and authentication identifiers from Clerk, Google, Apple, or email/password sign-in.
- Store data — store name, domain, logo, product catalog (titles, images, descriptions), brand signals, and preferences you set in the app.
- Shopify connection — OAuth access tokens and scopes needed to sync catalog and (when granted) publish media. Tokens are encrypted at rest when encryption is configured.
- Generated content — prompts, edits, likes / dislikes, captions, and media we create for your feed.
- Billing — subscription plan, credit usage, and Stripe customer / subscription identifiers. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored by Doomsy.
- Device and usage — app version, crash / error reports (when Sentry is enabled), and basic request logs needed to operate the service.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Doomsy service
- Generate creatives and learn taste signals from your feedback
- Sync and display your catalog
- Meter credits, process payments, and prevent abuse
- Communicate about your account, billing, and material product changes
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your product catalog to train foundation models for unrelated third parties.
Processors we rely on
We use service providers to run Doomsy, including hosting (e.g. Vercel), database (Neon), auth (Clerk), payments (Stripe), media storage (Cloudflare R2 when configured), image/video generation (Fal), and LLM providers for creative direction. They process data on our instructions to provide those services.
Retention
We keep account, store, and feed data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated store data; we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period unless we must retain records for legal, billing, or security reasons.
Your choices
- Update profile and store settings in the app
- Disconnect Shopify or remove a store
- Cancel a subscription via Stripe billing portal / in-app plan screen
- Request access or deletion by emailing privacy@doomsy.ai
Children
Doomsy is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
